We had a pretty relaxing weekend for the most part. Friday we hung out around the house playing tea party most of the day. Andie's favorite phrase for the weekend was "mmm licious." Brian played in the local "Hotter than Heck" Tennis tournament. His first match lasted 3 hours, and 2nd match lasted 2 hours. Going for a wide ball, Brian wasn't able to stop in time before he ran into the chain link fence dividing the courts. He put his hands up to stop himself and his racquet bounced back and hit him on the nose. So he had some bruising and swelling, but he still won the match!
When we walked up the hill to Brian's court, I asked Andie, "What is daddy playing?" She responded as clear as day, "Tennis." I think it made her daddy very happy. We watched him while she finished her milk and cheerios, and then the real adventure began go up and down the hill, climbing on the rocks, and rolling a tennis ball down the sidewalk. We only lasted an hour before the heat got to us.
